i honestly feel from most of my personal experience, it's the other way around. many of the church's leadership would like to rally around reaching the next generation more intentionally (for their kids are leaving the church by the dozens), but it was the first generation pastors who discouraged such a thing.

great news to hear that more pastors are realizing the need for reaching the next generation.. could it be that first generation pastors recognize the need to reach the next generation, but they cannot get enough people in their respective church's leadership to rally around towards reaching the next generation more intentionally?
